What I liked best about Echo Lake were the characters. Heather, the heroine, is a stong woman working in a man's career field - very successfully. Brody, the hero, is a federal agent with all the appropriate attributes. They have a history that complicates their relationship.
The thing I liked least is that the main secondary character Vic's problem seems contrived. But there had to be a reason to bring Brody home.
This book had a satisfactory conclusion. All questions were answer and, being a romance, ended with an HEA. I would recommend this novel to all readers who love romances.
